Most treatment approaches were not designed for hypermobile connective tissue. Ours was.

Is The Chronic Pain Blueprint-Hypermobility Right For You?

Unlock your recovery path with this short quiz built for the hypermobile body.
Pick the SINGLE best answer.

Dr. Conrad is one of the only providers in North Texas listed on the International EDS Society's provider directory. But his understanding of the hypermobile patient does not come from a directory listing or a continuing education course.
He has EDS. He spent close to 20 years living with chronic pain, cycling through providers who did not understand his body, treatments that helped temporarily and then stopped, and the particular exhaustion that comes from feeling like you have to prove your own suffering to every new doctor you see.
He knows what it feels like to be told your labs are normal so you must be fine. He knows what it means to leave an appointment feeling more hopeless than when you walked in. And he knows exactly what changed when he finally stopped chasing symptoms and started finding the actual source.
That experience is the foundation of everything at Conrad Spine and Sport. And it is why the approach here is fundamentally different from anything you have likely tried.
Dr. Conrad combines rehabilitation, functional movement, and holistic care to identify the hidden patterns underlying your pain. He understands that a hypermobile nervous system, connective tissue, and pain response do not work the same way as a non hypermobile body. Treatment that ignores that is treatment that will keep failing you.
"I know what it is like to sit in a provider's office and sense that they do not really understand what is happening in your body. I built Conrad Spine and Sport for the patient who has been dismissed, the one who has tried everything, the one who is still in pain and still looking for a real answer. That patient deserves better. You deserve better."

“I Stopped Trusting My Back”
I had treated my back before. It would calm down, then come back. What wore me down wasn't just the pain. It was the hesitation. I started planning my week around it. The Chronic Pain Blueprint was different. We fixed what kept setting it off. I don't think about my back every day anymore.
- Brigitte

“I Was Shrinking My Life Around It”
My shoulder pain wasn’t constant, which made it worse. I never knew when it would grab. I avoided lifts and stopped pushing myself. This wasn’t about temporary relief. It addressed the real cause. Now I train without hesitation.
- Tony

“It Finally Makes Sense”
It would feel fine until I stressed it. Then I’d be right back where I started. What changed here was understanding why it kept happening. We didn’t stop when it felt better. We built it strong enough to handle real stress. I don’t brace before every movement anymore.
- Cassie

Phase I
Identify The Pattern
We assess your movement, your nervous system, and your history through the lens of hypermobility. Most of our EDS patients describe this phase as the first time a provider has actually understood what they are dealing with. We find what has been missed. We explain it clearly. And we build the roadmap from there.
Phase II
Stabilize and Rebuild
Hypermobile joints need stability before they need strength. We build that foundation systematically and progressively, never pushing faster than your connective tissue can adapt. This is where most approaches fail the hypermobile patient and where ours is designed specifically not to.
Phase III
Integrate and Hold
Real life is unpredictable. Your body needs to handle it. We reintroduce real stress strategically until your nervous system and connective tissue can manage demand without triggering the breakdown cycle. The goal is not just feeling better in the clinic. It is functioning better everywhere.
You have spent years adapting your life to your body.
The goal here is to build a body that can finally keep up with your life.
Yes. Dr. Conrad has EDS himself and understands exactly how hypermobile connective tissue responds differently to treatment and loading. The Chronic Pain Blueprint for hypermobile patients is specifically structured to build stability before strength and to progress at a pace your body can actually adapt to. We do not use the same protocols we use for non hypermobile patients because your body is not the same.
It is one of the most common things our patients hear before they find us. And in our experience it is almost never accurate. What is true is that standard approaches often do not work for hypermobile bodies. That does not mean nothing works. It means the right approach has not been applied yet.
Absolutely. Many of our most successful patients came to us without a formal diagnosis. If your joints feel unstable, your pain moves around, your symptoms do not respond normally to treatment, or you have spent years being told everything looks fine on paper, you belong here. A formal diagnosis is not required to receive care that actually fits your body.
Yes. Because qualified EDS providers are so rare, patients travel to work with Dr. Conrad. We will discuss what that looks like during your Clarity Visit. For those who cannot travel, we are also developing online options specifically for the EDS and hypermobility community.
Yes. We understand that EDS rarely travels alone. While we focus specifically on the movement, structural, and pain pattern piece, we work with the full picture of your health and coordinate with your other providers where appropriate. You will not be treated like a single diagnosis here.
We assess your movement, identify your breakdown pattern, and determine what has been missed. For hypermobile patients this assessment is specifically designed to account for how your nervous system and connective tissue work differently. You leave with a clear understanding of why your body keeps struggling and whether the Chronic Pain Blueprint is the right next step for you.
The investment depends entirely on what your body needs and we won't know that until we've properly assessed you. The Chronic Pain Blueprint is prescribed based on the severity and complexity of your pattern. We offer structured payment plans and financing options, and everything is discussed clearly and transparently during your Clarity Visit before you make any decision. There is no pressure and no surprise fees. Just an honest recommendation based on what we actually find. The Clarity Visit itself is free.
No. The goal is not endless visits. The goal is to build your body to a level of stability and strength where you are not dependent on ongoing treatment to function. Some EDS patients do choose to continue working with us beyond the initial program and that is always their choice. But it is never the expectation or the goal.
